Problem description
During rapidly evolving geopolitical conflicts, social media platforms struggle to quickly distinguish authentic user-generated video footage from doctored or misattributed media. Because automated verification and deepfake detection tools are not natively integrated into community moderation workflows, moderators must resort to outright bans on unverified video sources. This restriction severely limits real-time ground truth visibility while drastically increasing the cognitive burden on moderators.
